• Amendments to the Luxembourg laws for alternative investment funds (the 2016 law on reserved alternative investment funds).
• Plans for the two top fund jurisdictions, the BVI and the Cayman Islands, to introduce AIFMD opt-in regimes designed to allow Caribbean managers to take advantage of third-country passporting rights in the European Union.
