Asanda Ngxongo is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions practice area. He is a 6 years’ PQE lawyer with international experience across leading commercial law firms in South Africa and Ireland, advising on complex corporate transactions and general corporate and commercial matters under South African, Irish and EU law.

Asanda specialises in corporate M&A, with a strong focus on private equity transactions across the full deal lifecycle. He has experience leading and coordinating due diligence processes, advising on pre-deal restructurings, drafting and negotiating transaction agreements, and managing multi-jurisdictional signings, closings and post-deal implementation. His broader practice includes B-BBEE transactions, corporate governance and compliance, group restructurings and re-organisations, and trust administration.
