  • Advised an institutional investor in respect of its equity investment in various wind and solar power projects as part of Round 4 of the South African Renewable Energy IPP Programme.
  • Advised the lenders in respect of a biomass power project in Kwazulu-Natal Province of South Africa as part of the South African Renewable Energy IPP Procurement Programme.
  • Advised the sponsors and project company in respect of the 64MW Letsatsi Solar PV Power Project and the 64MW Lesedi Solar PV Power Project.
  • Advised the sponsors and project company in the 75MW Jasper Solar PV Power Project.
  • Advising the sponsors and project company in respect of a 600MW coal-fired power plant in the Limpopo Province, South Africa to be bid under the South African Coal Baseload IPP Procurement Programme.
  • Acted as project counsel in relation to the bid of a coal-fired power station in Botswana.
  • Advised an investment group in regard to their proposed investment in the coal-fired power plant and coal mine in Botswana.

  • Acted as lender's counsel in respect of the financing of the Chaba (20.6MW), Waainek (23.3MW) and Grassridge (59.8MW) wind farm projects in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa as part of Round 2 of the South African Renewable Energy IPP Programme.
