  • Advised the Anthem/Seller on the first project financed wheeling solar PPA in the South African market using the traditional wheeling with Eskom whereby the offtaker was Harmony Gold.
  • Advised the Anthem/Seller on the first project financed wheeling wind PPA in the South African market using the traditional wheeling with Eskom for the production of green hydrogen at Sasol's Sasolburg operations, through a wheeling arrangement under a 20 year power purchase agreement with Sasol South Africa Limited.
  • Advised Discovery Green on their establishment as a licensed energy trader with NERSA.
  • Advised a bidder in respect of Vodacom's procurement of renewable energy under a virtual wheeling arrangement.
  • Advised the lenders in respect of the financing of a large scale solar PV facility in the Free State Province under a traditional wheeling arrangement with Eskom.
  • Advised the IPP/seller in respect of the development of circa 420MW Wind Farm cluster in the Western Cape which included a traditional wheeling PPA with NOA a licensed energy trader.
  • Advised the lenders in respect of the financing of the Bela Bela solar PV facility under a traditional wheeling arrangement with Eskom.
  • The offtakers in relation to the various traditional wheeling PPAs in respect of major mining houses and trader based PPAs.
  • The contractor/turbine supplier in respect of the construction of the Overberg Wind Farm developed by Red Rocket.
  • The sponsors/sellers in relation to the development and construction of wind power generation facilities of 140MW each to supply energy on a traditional wheeled basis to various offtakes including Sibanye Stillwater Limited and Richards Bay Minerals, including the construction of these projects on a split contract basis.
  • The lenders/sponsors/IPPs in respect of various wind and solar projects under the South African REIPPP Procurement Programme.
