Werksmans Women Winners
The WOZA awards are presented annually to women lawyers in recognition of their outstanding dedication, achievements and contribution to the profession, whether it be services, legal education, human rights or the pro bono sector.
Bulelwa Mabasa’s submission was for Best Woman Lawyer in Land Rights which based on her contribution not only to Werksmans in this sector but also, the key role Bulelwa plays in Land Reform policy in South Africa having been appointed as a panel member by President Cyril Ramaphosa to his Land advisory panel.
Naledi Motsiri’s submission was for Best Woman Lawyer in Pro Bono based on her significant contribution in assisting the less fortunate around the country in legal matters that are of public significance and helps promote the constitutional imperative of access to justice for all.
Wendy Rosenberg’s submission was for Best Woman Lawyer in Technology based on her unravelled experience in shaping African policy in this sector over the past 20 years.
We are beyond proud of these achievements, which serve to cement our status as a firm in support of the transformation of this country and our phenomenal women of Werksmans.
