Urgent update: COVID-19 Temporary Employer / Employee Relief Scheme (“TERS”) extension

On 21 July 2020, the Department of Employment and Labour (“Department“) announced that the Covid-19 TERS benefit would be extended to 15 August 2020.
The benefit structure and criteria will remain the same as that which applied in April, May and June 2020. However, the Department is considering closing the April, May and June applications at the end of July 2020. The valid applications already received will still be processed.
